Although Ecstasy has risen in terms of popularity as of late, like all drugs, there are multiple ways to prevent the drug from gaining further use. First off, Ecstasy must be monitored at the places where it is most commonly used. Young adults should be checked for Ecstasy upon entering clubs or raves. With the small size and easy transportation of the drug, it may not be such a simple task. Drug monitors are necessary, and could be used by way of police dogs that sniff out drugs. Another way to prevent the use, as I previously mentioned, is by way of celebrities. Young adults these days will do just about anything that their role models do. Popular artists need to take in to consideration the effect that they have on their fans. Macklemore is a prime example of a popular artist who's lyrics positively benefit the youth of the nation. Macklemore uses first-hand experiences to talk about the negatives of drug use. In conclusion, sometimes it's just the little things that need to be done to prevent the spread of drug use.
