WHY IS ECSTASY POPULAR?

Ecstasy has become one of the most popular drugs in America for multiple reasons. First of all, the prices are very deceptive and misleading. When people first start using the crystalline form of ecstasy, known as Molly, they get high off of just 1 hit. This usually only cost somewhere around 10 dollars, so it's not very expensive. Eventually, 1 hit isn't enough to get high, and users now spend 20-30 dollars a night on Molly. Before they know it, after a few months users are dropping 80 or 90 dollars on this drug every night. This is a cleaver marketing trick by dealers, and it leaves users broke. Another reason for the uprising popularity of Ecstasy is the infatuation with celebrity mentions. Music artists such as Tyga, Wiz Khalifa, and Lil Wayne have all hinted to Ecstasy use in recent songs. As history has proven, young adults will do whatever their celebrity idols do.
